Building Collaborative Union-Management Relationships

PLEASE NOTE: This course is restricted to Administrative staff with supervisory responsibility.
Administrators recognize the importance of adhering to Collective Agreements but sometimes find it difficult to navigate the challenges that come with the effective management of their team members. In this workshop, participants will have an opportunity to further develop the skills necessary to meet the challenges of managing in a unionized environment through exploring key information, small group discussion and the sharing of effective practice. Upon course completion, participants will have had the opportunity to:

- Create a network with other managers across the college for further support; and
- Better understand the support available to managers from Human Resources.
